One big @bubble wishlist item -- being able to recognize addresses properly when uploading data directly via CSV. This would save me a ton of time. A quick 🧵:
Right now, I have to do this via a number of different steps.
We're taking @PrivateMarket to the next level by narrowing our focus. That means changing how our users access the platform - new workflows for the Directory, Profiles and Marketplace. Stay tuned. #smb#buildinpublic#nocode
Combine external datasets, proprietary data and the right #nocode tools, and you can clear up any opaque market out there. Just so happens that we believe #smbs will be responsible the most meaningful change in the next 20yrs
Without #nocode, I couldn't have been building @PrivateMarket so quickly and getting the feedback we need to grow in the right direction. A combination of @Lucidchart@bubble and lots of notepad sketches got the job done.
One thing that you learn the hard way in #nocode and in @bubble specifically is the importance of consistent, clear and distinct labeling. If you have an element that you configured and you copy it somewhere else on the page, make sure you change its name.
I wish @bubble had a way for me to preview initial content/data source in inputs and/or groups that are displaying database elements without me having to log in as some rando test user.
my #buildinpublic rant for today: Placeholder elements in the legacy @bubble responsive engine are so annoying. Anyone who still uses them should reconsider, because getting rid of them in the new responsive engine is a given. ☮️✌️
