start over from scratch in a new engine and scrap almost 3 months of work. Since that's the case, I'm currently pausing the project cause it's honestly frustrating right now. So I began on a new one which I also plan on making a #buildinpublic project 2/2 #indiedev#gamedev
- fixed another bug in the combat system - changed out the annoying "brains" sound effect to a regular zombie growl - And last but not least, I finally added an ability.
It's #screenshotsaturday! And today I added all the necessary sound effects, from walking and picking up items to the zombie growling, punching and Madoobe's dialogue sound effect.
So these are today's updates. - I finally fixed a bug in the combat system that I've been trying to figure out for weeks - Changed the zombie's animation from walking to running - Added walking and sprinting to the player - Expanded the dungeon
Updated Madoobe's dialogue and replaced jin with saar to reflect the Somali mythology. What do you think about the note bubble explaining the term? Yay or nay?
