Did some light work on my scheduler this morning. I wanted better logging and a more consistent structure so I wrote a custom struct to wrap my jobs in. #buildinpublic #golang #OpenSource
Tryin to get better at the #buildinpublic thing again, so here's my entry for today!

If you read my previous entry (RT'd) I found one glaring issue when I was working the process late last week: keeping tasks between projects & content items in sync
Building CLIs has got to be one of my favorite types of projects. Simple to interact with, yet powerful automation can be created from them.

Here is something I built with #golang over the last two weeks to streamline my content creation processes a bit. #buildinpublic

Finally taking the time to rebuild my website and bring it more in line with my other branding images, as well as being it over to @GatsbyJS & @Netlify

Also started using the public repo again (check the thread if you’re interested 👇) #buildinpublic
Sneak peak of some new stuff FINALLY going live in @GuardianForge tomorrow AM (along with some 🐛fixes)

Little more work on the item cards this morning. Got tier info setup, also updates based on mods inserted 😄 #buildinpublic
Told you new stuff is coming 👀 #buildinpublic

Started polishing the item cards & added some stats in. Still a WIP but should be able to get this out next week!
Ever wonder what goes into building a #saas? Check out this video I made on my planning process for building @guardianforge

Sneak peek of something I started on: a simple tweet scheduler that hooks into a @NotionHQ database as the main source. Got a #golang process actually sending the tweets, but that will be going #serverless soon ⚡️

#buildinpublic
I'm in the process of revamping my content production pipeline using @NotionHQ and some custom built tools, and I'm live-blogging the entire thing!

My first entry has me outlining my general process and some of the boards Im using.

Check it out! 👇#creator #buildinpublic
I am now officially the owner of an LLC 🥳

More SaaS products incoming!!!

I’m building an open source app template for all my future services I want to create. Focus is on #awscloud, #ReactJS, and #golang.

Gonna auto implement at least @stripe and @algolia. If you are a builder, what other services would you recommend?

Made progress on another task, built a script to roll over upvotes between seasons. I need to execute it manually, but its once every few months so no big deal.

Here's a breakdown of the code 🧵👇

“I approve…” - Spider

Still need to fix the bug where that bottom row hasn’t been filling in. Adding that to the list. twitter.com/brianmmdev/sta…
Pushing an update to QA to test a new Open Graph image template. Can't wait to see what this looks like after the build items are added. (Old on the left, new on the right) #buildinpublic twitter.com/brianmmdev/sta…
2/7 tasks done. Updated the isLoggedIn() method to validate token expiration and added checks & redirects in the common profile areas. I like the idea of users having access to the public UI for now. twitter.com/brianmmdev/sta…
I've got three goals this week for Forge:

✅ Move all users to the new UI
✅ Archive upvotes for Season 15
✅ Setup an admin function to fix Build Card Summaries (there is a small bug in the new UI the may not populate the user field.

#buildinpublic
The results of my work over the last 3 months is finally seeing the light of day! Im so happy rn 😊

Hey there Guardians, @brianmmdev here! Hope you are all doing well!

I'm in the process of deploying the biggest update to Forge since it launched:

✅ Updated Interface
✅ In-App Build Crafter
✅ DIM Links 👀

New @guardianforge going into prod tomorrow! Finished most of the little details, have a few things to wrap up before I push all users into the new UI but its far enough along that Im comfortable testing it with general users

#buildinpublic #destiny2
Responsiveness, V3 Subclass Cards, and Editing/Archiving builds are ✅

Also fixed a bug that's been hanging around Forge for months that I didn't know about!

Bookmarking is next. Planning a push into prod later this week 🤩

Made a bit of progress on V3 subclasses today! I had to refactor the way inventory items were pulled in via destiny-data-utils to get Aspects. Last thing here is configuring Aspect/Fragment rules. Still targeting a release by the end of the week 😬
