I track a lot of parameters.

However, I realize as I write this I do not track “how many tweets or posts” I make.

I won’t start either (is there a tool for this?)

However, you can see the result of my inactivity in the stats.

In the first two months, two distinct things happened:

1) I got featured in the eBizFacts newsletter

2) I had a tweet go super viral (I was no 1 in the world for 48 hours for hashtag ChatGPT)

The first months, the newsletter grew by 250 subscribers.

You may call that exponential growth (0->250->500).

But last month, it only grew by 100.

That’s 400 short of keeping the desired growth rate.

It took me 93 days to get to 600 subscribers for the Practical AI newsletter.

However, it took me 68 days to get to 500.

Growth has slowed down.

Regarding LinkedIn, the graph below clearly shows I was not putting any effort into it.

This needs to change!

My 2nd startup is a real business, and customers hang out on LinkedIn.

I will challenge myself and publish daily on LinkedIn from Monday!

When Building in public, you need to be active on social media.

I am using Twitter and LinkedIn.

But I suck at it 👉 inconsistent.

I need to do better moving forward!

I got lucky and had one Tweet go viral in February and gained followers on Twitter.
