Starting a business is no more just for the privileged, anyone with a laptop can start. Fun to talk with @John__McT about startups, and side projects on my first ever podcast 🙌.
This seems like a consistent plan I can try to do to move forward here on twitter, although I would slash the numbers by half. Can I actually manage to post this many value adding tweets a day? Depends on what the threshold for what "value" is... #buildinpublic
No matter the progress or how scrappy it looks I’ll release something out. Aim is to be in public beta by the end of the week for everyone to try typenotes.ai 🥳. Without these hard deadlines I could even be building for the next 4 months perpetually.
Do people who use Twitter retweet tools(like @sidebird_io) actually notice an increase in followers before and after? Any twitter tools that are a no brainer/must have in growing an audience on here?
Not using any at the moment wondering if they’re even needed.
Setting a goal to tweet every day of this month. Busy month ahead with lots planned in my personal life, and don’t even have a clue of what I’ll even be tweeting about, but need to inject some consistency into my Twitter presence.
Seems like theres two groups: people who would LOVE to live like this, and people who would HATE to live like this. Privilege plays a part, but otherwise it's a good litmus test for personality.
My first podcast- showing a little bit about what it is to #buildinpublic for the first time and how I’m building my first indie project. twitter.com/john__mct/stat…
Just sent out the first round of user surveys for typenotes.ai. Exciting to talk directly to users and finally gain clarity on how others view my ideas that so far have just been a figment in my brain.
The community of builders here on twitter are truly wild, everyday indie devs are building cooler and cooler projects over a weekend. Thanks for the 100 followers 🥳, excited to continue building in public.
… inauthentic in bringing out a personality. Seems like just posting your thoughts has a less chance of going viral but stronger chance of building a more authentic community??What’s everyone’s thoughts on this?
