Updated the look of the new editor 👀

Here's the v0.1 of what will eventually become a 1-minute demo for the new ThreadStart editor.

What I've realized so far:

❌ recording this in one take won't work
❌ using the fixed viewport won't work either
❌ there's waaay too much to show in 1 minute

Finished the porting logic for postings made with the old ThreadStart editor.

So, users with access to the new editor can port their old drafts to the new one now.

Shipped some improvements to

Finished the new settings page for ThreadStart this week. The old one massively got out of hand. It was one page that included everything.

Now you got nice little groups.

Quitely released a new upgrade page last week. Now I only need to enforce the limits 😅

This fix was overdue.

The calendar now shows published postings only once. Previously they would show up once as scheduled & once as published.

All good now 👍

I reduced the size of the toolbar, removed the cards on the preview and moved the actions below the editor.

The final @threadstartio update for today is a little improvement to the calendar view.

Giving it more space in general, color coding the difference between published & scheduled and highlighting threads. #BuildInPublic

Instead of having two separate pages for posted threads & drafts I moved it to one page with a simple button to switch between them.

Also made some small design changes.

So much better now #buildinpublic

Previously had the editor and stats directly on the dashboard, that felt out of place (and was mentioned more than once by others)

Feel like this is better now. Still have the most important stats and a quick action list.
