@BernyMWeiss I'll keep tweeting, but without the extra constraint of "Day X of #buildinpublic." Because there are days that I have multiple things to talk about, and days that I didn't do much and is not worth tweeting. I left out many things to maintain the one-tweet-per-day progress format.
Day 43 of #buildinpublic: Finished the first draft of the #free one-lesson #course. I still have to edit it. I also made a few modifications to the front end of the platform.
Finally, I'm losing this tweeting format. Limiting the progress by days is too restrictive.
Day 42๐of #buildinpublic: I took a different approach. I started writing a #free one-lesson course to lure people to the platform. I intend to publish the lesson in several places and allow interested people to sign for my #WebDeveloper#course. ๐ป
Day 41 of #buildinpublic: Wrote 1k words and finished lesson 7 of my #progamming#course. Today we added a new section to the #Website and learned about #HTML div element, #CSS class selectors, and changing the font ๐.
Day 39 and 40 of #buildinpublic: Didn't finish anything. ๐ It happens. I didn't do anything on the 26th (so I don't count the day), wrote 200 words on day 39, and 600 on day 40.
Spent close to 12hs configuring #Vim as a note-taking system ๐คฆ๐
Day 37 and 38 of #buildinpublic: Finished the draft of lesson six of my #programming#course! I explained how to style an awesome button, about selectors, pseudo-classes, combinators, and more! #CSS deep dive! ๐๐
Day 35 and 36 of #buildinpublic: Finished the draft of lesson five of my #programming#course! As I said, I will not edit until I finish all of them. I explained some useful #CSS properties, units, image and color handling, etc. Gaining momentum!! ๐ฅ๐ฅ
Day 34 of #buildinpublic: I finished the first draft of lesson four. I still need to edit it and add the images and gifs, but I will change the procedure to a more batch-like one. I will keep writing until I get the #course done. Then editing, then images.
Day 33 of #buildinpublic: I'm halfway through the fourth lesson of my #progamming#course. Introducing my students to #CSS. Some days, knowing all the things that I still need to do feels daunting. Must push through, one step at a time
Day 31 and 32 of #buildinpublic: Finished lesson three of my #programming#course! ๐It took me a little more than I thought, but I'm happy with the outcome.
Day 30 of #buildinpublic: A month of work in 3 months. Not the best rhythm, but progressing nonetheless. I'm more or less halfway through the third lesson.
Day 23 of #buildinpublic: I made a quick and simple logo to check the box and to keep the rhythm going. It isn't beautiful, and It doesn't have to. It's an MVP (of sorts).
๐Next: Finish a client project๐ค. Then add the content of the first courseโ๏ธ.
Day 23 of #buildinpublic: I decided to postpone the payment provider integration until after the soft launch. Added the footer and improved a little the general UI/UX of the website.
