Just a few months ago I was wishing I could join the #buildinpublic community and build my own SaaS product. Fast forward to today, I've built @SEOCopyAI that genuinely fills me with joy every time I work on it, whether that's building new features or marketing the product..
I've realised that the key to building an audience is consistency. Part of the #BuildInPublic journey is to share your daily/weekly experiences regardless of if they're positive or not, and being as authentic as you can be. I'm definitely going to be working on that this month.
Youโll often hear people in the #buildinpublic space say to build your MVP with a tech stack that youโre already familiar with. Whilst this makes sense, I think some context is required first.
@robertodigital_@katlinks_ Congrats Roberto! Itโs great to see somebody else in the #buildinpublic community building an SEO tool ๐ Katlinks looks great, definitely going to try it out ๐ช
It's been very easy to over complicate certain parts as I'm building... such as the process of uploading/managing images via S3, and especially the Stripe Connect integration... I literally spent 4 hours yesterday adding a dynamic Stripe profile/branding editor. #BuildInPublic
Feedback and criticism is great, but you shouldn't always take it as gospel and change just because of it. Sometimes you need to back yourself and your idea, put it to the world and learn from the results. #buildinpublic
I'm going to be building Linkss.to in public. Just got the landing page up, and I'm excited to get started! Don't exactly know how all this works, but going to regularly tweet on the development process/anything worth sharing. #buildinpublic#buildinginpublic
