A quick bit of @faultreport coding to warm up the mind for a day of flashing lights (my other "hobby), building out company switching and invites. i must say, there could be a worse setting! π¦πͺβοΈ
Working this in around paying freelance work (60+ hours per week - not including travel) and a 2 year old is hard. Luckily i have an incredibly understanding wife! And i'm determined - hopefully thats the key..
Building out teams support for a web app is hard work after you've already built the core concepts in! I should have taken all the tweet warning seriously...
i'm no designer, but I made up some little graphics to explain how simple fault reporting out in the field can be. This lets the people who can help know right away, maybe even order parts in advance or assist in field repair!
@ThePeterMick Thanks for the post! I'm Mitch from the UK, i work in Technical Production for Live events and arts - concert/theatre/corporate/installation etc. Hacking on simple tools to help people in my field.
Made a simple name change of a core concept in a web app i'm building, "Shows" changed to "Productions" Alot more readable to me now! Do other people find a simple change like this helps them see things differently?
Looking to get building web apps as a bigger part of my time, while still working on live events as a freelancer. I've seen people in the #buildinpublic realm find good success, i guess lets see if i get anywhere!
