Well, that was fast. Three days later I’m at 150. All I did was send out the 6th issue and tell folks on social media that I’ll be releasing the beta of @vestigory to my newsletter. #buildinpublic

In the spirit of #BuildInPublic, I am publicly settinh myself a deadline of having Version 1 of @vestigory ready to share by the next issue of my newsletter on January 18. I’ll be sending it to my list first: dame.news

I’m proactively adding some references to unreleased features within @vestigory that are in development and will be coming later in the future.

I’m usually the kind of person that wants to plan things out in advance and make a marketing strategy before launching something...

But in 2021 I want to start being more spontaneous and spend less time overthinking things. I also want to #BuildInPublic.

If it looks like I created this overnight, I kind of did. But I also didn’t. In less than 24 hours I picked a name, made a logo, and shared it with the world.

But, I’ve been tinkering with my personal lifelogging app and practice for over 5 years.
