Quick tip for founders:

Make it easy for your users to send you feedback 🗣

User feedback is essential to growth, so don't make your users have to find your email address or your social handles just to report an issue.

Less friction = more feedback

We just squashed three bugs thanks to feedback from you, our users! 🎉🐨

If you have any issues to report, or if you would like to suggest improvements, let us know using the Submit feedback button in the quick actions menu!

Which of these 4 heading options seem better / more clear to you?

Trying to figure out how to do that for these days - I'm very much not a marketing guy 😅

Does anyone have tips on ethical marketing strategies that do not rely (or at least not heavily) on advertisement?

My goals for Tuesdays are to:

- come up with 2 blog article ideas;
- outline (and research) one blog article;

You can expect to see an article about dark patterns (inspired by @harrybr's work with @darkpatterns) come out on Koalati's blog in the next few days..!

Someone reached out to me after discovering @koalatiweb's website from an open-source package I published on NPM.

I thought that was pretty cool, so I figured I'd share on here. 🤓

Just sent out my first cold email to a potential user... but I couldn't force myself to send something generic. It felt wrong.

So I recorded a short personalized @loom video and sent the link in the email.

It's probably not sustainable, but... it feels right.

I'm not great at content and marketing; I had to set myself a clear task schedule for @koalatiweb.

So I made a Trello board with recurring tasks for each weekday.

Yesterday I came up with 2 article ideas, and outlined one of them.

Today, these are my two goals.

Alright folks, here's a first MVP that you can try out!

It's not fully optimized and doesn't take taxes or discounts into account yet, but it's a good start nonetheless!

Let me know what you think / if you run into any issues!

All of my syncs have worked correctly since I set it up last night.

If you'd like to have your Paddle subscription data synced to ChartMogul automatically, let me know: I'm ready to let 2-3 people in as a first "beta" test!

Cleaned up a few rough edges, made some minor improvements, and now I'm ready to ship.

Just created a 5$ droplet for it, but no time to set it up tonight. Tomorrow though, this puppy is gonna see the world for the first time!

Just submitted the forms to incorporate my first company.

2022 should be an interesting year!

Best part about building a SaaS for yourself is that you have your first « customer » right from the start.

I just used Koalati to QA the new marketing website, and found a few bugs.

If I wasn’t my own user, it would’ve taken much longer to detect that!

Solo founders and #BuildInPublic folks:

Do you have any tips about incorporation for a first startup?

- When did you do it?
- How did you plan for it?
- What are the essentials one should know about?

For some context:
- Bootstrapped;
- No business background;
- in Canada
Built a phone in @webflow today.

Trying to turn each feature page for @koalatiweb's new website into an experience for the visitors.

Pretty happy with how this one turned out!

Building the new marketing website for @koalatiweb...

What do you think of my "Loading speed" feature page?

Today was another great example of why streaming your #BuildInPublic work can be useful.

I was working on the new beta for Koalati, and a viewer on my stream also checked it out.

He spent 1-2h testing it, reporting a total of about 15 issues and potential improvements. 🤯
Streaming my first full-time week of development of @koalatiweb on Twitch has been good for me.

- A viewer helped me fix a Docker image publishing issue
- Two other viewers helped me validate my idea
- It kept me focused on the projet from 8AM to 4PM everyday.

Today’s #webdev stream is starting: come and hang out as I work on my SaaS platform for developers and agencies!

Here's what I did today on stream:

- Made the sidebar responsive
- Finished initial version of all dashboards
- Hid/disabled not-yet-available features and sections
- Fixed display of tables in recommendations
- Fixed tool service Docker auto-build
- 3-4 bugfixes
