Be careful who you hangout with (e.g. if you hangout with lazy people, you will pick up lazy tendencies). Life is easier when your surround yourself with likeminded individuals who share the same ambitions that you have.

This is also why I’ve never been a fan of coding bootcamps. You can create a personal bootcamp by developing something on your own. Any knowledge gaps can be filled by a simple google search.
