What task management tools are #indiehackers using at the moment?

Recently I've been thinking my Notion task management setup is a little bit overkill. Think I might go back to Trello or something similar.

What are the people of #buildinpublic using for email warm-up when starting cold outreach campaigns?

Looking for something affordable ๐Ÿ˜ฌ
100 followers! First Twitter milestone for me ๐Ÿ“ˆ

Thanks @SamNewby_ for your shoutout early on, it gave me a real boost and really introduced me to the #buildinpublic community!

(Props to @audiencon for the cool gif ๐Ÿ™Œ)
@tarasowski I have no kids and barely find the time around a full-time job and other commitments.

Much respect to those parent #indiehackers making the time to #buildinpublic ๐Ÿซก๐Ÿ’ช
@heyimsunflower In the past week, I haven't managed it!

I was doing pretty well but some busier work plus family commitments really dragged me away

But while #buildinpublic is a side-project, I guess it is important to prioritise in that way
@chrisfitkin Firstly, talking to customers gives me the main boost.

If I know I have paying customers waiting for a feature, I think I even give myself an unhealthy amount of pressure to get it done.

Secondly, #buildinpublic has given me a great rush of inspiration ๐Ÿ’ช
Just posted my first market validation post on Reddit.

I followed @heyimsunflower's Reddit strategy (twitter.com/heyimsunflowerโ€ฆโ€ฆ).

I'm a bit scared of running into self-promotion rules even with this approach but giving it a go ๐Ÿ˜ฌ

๐Ÿ’ก Reddit Marketing/Validation Strategy ๐Ÿ’ก

I've posted four Reddit posts.

They got 10k+ views and dozens of comments.

My product's link was plugged into all of them.

Here's how you could replicate this to validate/market your solution

(๐Ÿค๐Ÿงต with examples ๐Ÿ‘‡)

Iโ€™m currently using a personal email for cold outreach.

Still trying to validate and keep initial costs low.

Is this an #indiehackers sin?

Whatโ€™s the best way to set up email for your project domain otherwise?

#buildinpublic
For those #indiehackers doing cold outreach, how many potential customers do you try and reach per day?

#buildinpublic
Another potential customer interview tomorrowโ€ฆ

Going to do my best to stay problem-focused.

I promised no sales, letโ€™s keep it that way

#buildinpublic
And do they want it enough to pay for it?

Thatโ€™s an important step I was missing in my first few interviews with potential customers.

It led to me following their feature requests without ever resulting in any kind of financial dedication

#buildinpublic
Do people actually want what you're making?
50 followers! Half way to one of the goals ๐ŸŽ‰

Thanks #buildinpublic!

Just need to keep the hard work up on finding those active users ๐Ÿ”Ž
Is 100 followers and 5 active business users doable in one month? (Starting from 0 users and 11 followers)

Let's find out! #buildinpublic
Received my first feedback on @yesramen_ yesterday. Got really detailed and insightful feedback! ๐Ÿ’ช

Already sent the invitation for free lifetime access to all tiers of QuickFeedback in return ๐ŸŽ

Thanks #buildinpublic
Great to be featured by yesRamen from the #buildinpublic community!

Feedback is important to me, so I'm looking for feedback on QuickFeedback ๐Ÿ˜‚

Have a look and let me know what you think! ๐Ÿ™Œ

QuickFeedback by @_adamjhawley

It's quick.
It can help you get feedback.

And it needs you feedback ๐Ÿ‘‡

@Kmaticu Congrats Kristian ๐ŸŽ‰ I'm new to twitter and was completely lost until I found #buildinpublic. Now I really feel I've been able to turn my twitter feed into something productive and engaging
@hughesyph @_david__wright_ I was wondering why I haven't seen #buildinpublic elsewhere.. I guess it's to do with those formats requiring more effort over content production.

It seems like the thing that makes twitter good is that, as soon as you have a problem/question you can just tweet it and carry on
I got in! Already signed up for the first mentoring session talking about fundraising for early-stage startups ๐ŸŽ‰

A small win, heading in the right direction. #buildinpublic

Thanks @SlushHQ!
Not really sure it is for as early stage as QuickFeedback is but I just applied for Node by @SlushHQ. Sounds like an incredible thing to be a part of though ๐Ÿ™Œ

Got to shoot my shot, wish me luck!
At what point to people usually go for product hunt launches?

#buildinpublic
@ThePeterMick Hey All! I'm new to #buildinpublic and Twitter, I've just launched my first project quickfeedback.app

Since I'm new to a lot of this, follow me for some probably hilariously bad mistakes and to hopefully see a new project come to life!
@_david__wright_ I head to LinkedIn when I hit larger milestones. Twitter and especially #buildinpublic seems to be about the small wins and interacting with a great community
