@AlexMano12 Quickly looking through my timeline, I realize I mostly talk about my experience, process, what Iโm building/learning, milestones, or asking for feedback.
Pretty much everything that falls under #buildinpublic except for the odd cat picture.
I've been creating unique tools for each graphic type (icons, illustration, textures, patterns) and now that I see some overlap, I'm working to create a more unified tool for a few of those categories.
- Growing Twitter slowed, but still on pace (610). - Giving #buildinpublic a solid try - Close to wrapping up my first tool - No blog posts :( - Sold 6 of my new products (not MRR)
Overall, I'm headed in the right direction. No BIG wins yet.
I have much to learn, but I've been tweeting about progress, lessons learned, and struggles. I already have received feedback and support from my maker and twitter friends, so I will continue to cultivate my public building.
I'm starting achieve desirable SVG textures. I've been tinkering with different shapes, density, SVG filters. After many iterations I'm choosing which inputs to include/exclude from users. Hint: my product is looking less and less like my initial drafts.
Part of #buildinpublic is sharing behind-the-scenes and it would be a disservice to keep my US health insurance rates a secret. I quit my full-time job and needed to pick up insurance:
- Share what you're working on - Publish meaningful statistics - Show people how you built things - Highlight what worked - Encourage conversations - Engage with your followers - Be authentic, don't be a bot
I started at the end of December posting the progess of my work. I'm clueless on how to best share my journey, but I know how to build, design, and problem solve... I'll figure it out.
#progress: A few days in and I already calculated a solid range of blobs. I have a lot of other inputs to consider, but now I have a better idea of what is achievable in terms of SVG textures. #buildinpublic
#fail My first attempt at adding curves to my dynamically generated polygon didn't quite make a nice blob, but instead this ghostly inverted jumble. #buildinpublic
