Website isn't for real online courses (for now), but which option you would use? "Learn the most important skill of the digital age" or "Become a professional “citizen developers” Audience: people working in companies, courses would be about no-code #nocode#buildinpublic
Another weekend, another @glideapps This time I started to work on @NBA prediction game - pick a winner, who will score the most points, etc. Collect your player points and compete with others. #BuildInPublic
Functionality-wise, I can create it almost as the original plan was (except, for now, I think I won't be able to have a scanner for labels), but much faster. It is not finished yet, I will add some more functionality there, but it's ready to onboard first users #buildinpublic
But now, seeing what is possible with #nocode tools (in this case it is @glideapps), I decided to come back to this and use BeerBuddy, as a sort of example, to show people that you can create this kind of app without having a #developer in your team. #buildinpublic
Traction wise, 33 users on the app (+15 during this week) 83 unique visitors on the page (-48 compared to the week before) 174 followers for the Instagram page (+61 during this week)
This weekend added an option for users to request personalized stories for their kids. In order to have this functionality, a person has to be our app's user for 3 days and have to rate at least one of the stories that are in their library. #buildinpublic
This week probably was the first, since Global Build Weekend (which happened 4 weeks ago), when we invested so much time in Ollie. Here is what we did and what are the results:
Video (on the right side) shows how the story can be created in less than a minute. As we are just launching our product, we don't have many reviews or users, so as our social proof I used our award from @beondeck Global Build Weekend.
1/ Explain the value you provide (title) 2/ Explain how you'll create it (subtitle) 3/ Let the user visualise it (image) 4/ Make it believable (social proof) 5/ Make taking the next step easy (CTA)
Stories that are personalized to children and read by the parent's voice even at those evenings, when the parent has to be somewhere else. Take a look meetollie.com
Thinking out loud: Would you be interested to participate in #nocode weekend, meaning we start on Friday evening and finish on Sunday lunchtime, during which we have to deliver a product. We #buildinpublic and during this period have checkpoint calls. @bubble@AdaloHQ@NocodeHQ
Using @TildaPublishing and @glideapps to create a matchmaking platform that will help to connect business idea authors with people who have relevant skills to this idea. For now, building it for the local audience, so it will be in Latvian #buildinpublic#nocode
