Having people interested in my progress has been my primary motivation to continue building, and I'm trying to recreate the same environment for others in that position.

Hoping to provide some value to the #buildinpublic community.

The first step is to figure out a way to count events. Users add emojis to their events based on intent, and I figured I could use these to count them in 1, 7 and 30 day intervals

I use ⏰ for my waitlist sign-ups, so I can tell what it means by looking at this

@websymphony LogSnag is a true cross-platform app. I have at least 4 months of head start unless it’s a team that’s cloning the project. So I think I’m quite safe 😅

Will continue to #buildinpublic
@kochfidential Yup, just posting as you work on your project. There is relatively large community who use #buildinpublic and are very welcoming.

What are you building?
I've been mainly tweeting about UI, design, and business side of my project here.

Is anyone also interested in more technical stuff? Mainly server side related practices.

I'm experimenting with the idea of explaining LogSnag's API in a short video.

This is the first time I'm trying something like this, so it's not that good yet, but I would love to get some feedback on making it better.

Web and Desktop Emoji support tend to be quite inconsistent, which annoyed me a lot!

This morning, @reichlingthomas introduced me to Twitter's open-source Emoji library, and I now have them implemented in LogSnag!

Much better now!

Got Approved! 🍾

@LogSnag is now live on the App Store.
Google Play is next!

A while ago, I built a side project to log when debugging or deploying a long-running script quickly.

Here's how it works:

1. Head to console.logsnag.com
2. Copy your unique URL endpoint
3. Send your logs to the endpoint over HTTP

Mac users: do you prefer to download apps from the App Store or directly from the website as a .dmg?

I have also decided to take a more minimal and bolder design approach for my UI.

IMO this makes everything less crowded and focuses more on the important elements.

Tiny new feature:

As users create more API tokens, it becomes difficult to distinguish between them. So now, they can add a name to each API token to remember where it is being used.

Also, I am auto-populating the field with these random names xD.

My TO-DO list for this week for @LogSnag

1. Improve Collaborative Features.
2. Add Privacy + ToS
3. Update Landing Page Copy
4. iOS/Android Market Artwork + Copy
5. Finalize Pricing

+ Tons of small improvements for the app.
