Day 30
Small, but important, fixes time. And... I finished my 30 day challenge! πŸŽ‰

Article in progress ✏️

Day 29
Today, I realised the single-page app on bubble have its shortcomings. Like opening a tab in the new tab through CMD + Right Click requires a link element. It reloads the page, hence killing the single-page principle.

Day 28
Advanced stages are all about bugs, details, and smooth experience.

Day 27
I play TTRPG every week, so this time I decided to test the current version of my product. Fortunately, the main flow went smooth (uff...). Still some things are broken, some needs dire UX improvements, some were simply missing.

Day 26
Added a one of my favs – searching through existing records and adding to the list. A foundation for cross-functional database in the app πŸ“‚

Day 25
🍁 Autumn cleaning today. I'm getting ready to give my tool an internal spin before jumping into further improvements.

Day 24
It’s not so β€œcrude” anymore, it’s β€œCRUD” now πŸ˜… Dad’s joke or not, now I can manage all content data through UI. Yeah!

Day 23
βš™οΈ Bubble Optimization Time!
- Upgrading to Personal Plan
- Moving from Chrome to Firefox (helped quite a lot 😯)
- Simplifying workflows
- Introducing reusable elements across the app

Day 22
I rediscovered the magic of the reusable elements in Bubble ✨ I updated the layout and realigned the list elements.

I realised that my article from #30daysofbuble aims to be very different from the last challenge. These days, I build, break, revise, and fix. It's so different from following the lessons.

Day 21
I'm far from perfect, but again a day closer to having it done.

Day 20
Main (happy?) flow fixed. Campaign properly branch to scenarios and the information architecture supports the scenario structure. The data relations still resemble spaghetti, but it’s better than before.

πŸ’‘ Product design tip:
Design your app in a spreadsheet or Notion before you start development. Works wonders.

Day 19
Break. I need to unwind for a day.

I could force myself into 15 min of work, but my rule is to qualify => 1 hour as logged progress.

PS. I still have done my 30 min coding learning routine πŸ˜…

@stacy_siz I see! Are you also logging your #buildinpublic journey on Linkedin?
Day 18
Cutting the scope. I realised I bit too much to kick v1.0.0 off in a month.

I focus on the obligatory experience – no more, no less.

Some thoughts from yesterday.

✏️ Sketching is my way to visualise thoughts and make notes. Do you sketch?

Day 17
✨ Massive UI update! Still, a way to go, but at least I don't have to look at wireframes.

#30daysofbubble #buildinpublic #nocode
A key to good styling in Bubble.io is a good Figma file structure.

Day 16
I added another block of data with UI to test the CRUD operations. Mundane? Maybe. But there is a delight in noticing those blocks becoming something of a shape.
