@seladorfred @carrd Thanks for asking!

Dayum, that's quick "market validation".

I'll DM you a link once I've done these 3 small steps:

1/ Got Carrd talking to ConvertKit.

2/ Put the LP onto the custom domain I bought last night.

3/ Created the 1st email in the sequence.

#buildinpublic FTW
@Natalie_Furn I’ve been documenting me figuring out Twitter in some #buildinpublic threads.

It made my timeline messy so I decided I’d document it in a Revue newsletter instead.

It’s my public journal of what I’m doing to get better using Twitter.
@RyanCarruthers @sarkka_timo Thanks for the tag Ryan.

Here’s my #buildinpublic threads

👇
MRR = Momentum

I sold a $299 course for years but switched to $15/mth and $150/mth memberships a few months ago.

You don't need "motivation" when your inbox gets hit with daily Stripe notifications.

And MRR snowballs from one month to the next!

Start small, but just start.

GROWING A COURSES MEMBERSHIP

Follow-along as I grow my $15/mth Google Ads Bootcamp.

This thread links to the separate "90 day" sub-threads below

@arvidkahl Both sides win with #buildinpublic.

1) Readers learn by following someone else.

2) Writers gain clarity by having to explain what they're doing, and why.
@sahibasethi7 If you want to find early-stage startup founders then:

1/ Check out the #buildinpublic tag, and maybe others they use.

2/ Check out accounts they'd follow such as @IndieHackers
@arvidkahl
@robwalling

3/ Check out software & tools they use (especially paid ones).
33/ "Praise in Public"

Are there #praiseinpublic or #helpinpublic hashtags?

#buildinpublic & #learninpublic seem (certainly by name) to be preoccupied with ourselves and what we're doing rather than helping others.

Anyway, here's a relevant thread:
👇
twitter.com/AndyBlackJnr/s…
“Praise in public. Criticise in private.”

One of my favourite lines, picked up from some management or leadership book.

Similar to a parenting favourite of mine:

“Catch them when they’re good.”

What’s your favourite leadership, management, or parenting tips?
@alexdurston_ss @hallieasks I know! I almost did that one.

Back to #buildinpublic... Am I building in public, or is one of these more appropriate:

#learninpublic
#figureshitoutinpublic
I'll be doing a #buildinpublic thread soon where you can follow-along as I build Google Ads campaigns for a new client.

In the meantime here's 25+ sales & marketing tips:

An Inbound Marketing & Sales Braindump

I've been doing Google Ads for clients since 2009 but never run a paid ad for myself. Instead, I've built my business by making friends, building relationships, and creating win-wins.

Braindump below. 👇
@MattMHarriman “Progress threads” have been a thing in entrepreneurial forums for years. #buildinpublic seems to be a newish thing on Twitter. Someone asked what difference I saw and I said it seemed more of a marketing tactic on Twitter.
@jamaruuuu @Marketing4Coder My first 90 days was purely organic inbound. This next 90 days I’ll be adding in paid inbound. Have you checked my two #buildinpublic threads? They’re both linked to in the link in my bio.
THE SECOND 90 DAYS - #buildinpublic

A journal of building a $15/mth and $150/mth courses membership.

Currently at 51 members and $1,330 MRR.
@Sathyanand1985 Hi everyone.

IT dude turned Google Ads guy here. Tweeting about building subscription businesses.

Haven’t used Twitter much till this week but enjoying meeting new people.

Current pinned tweet is a #buildinpublic thread.

@AndyBlackJnr
@scholz_felix Awesome! I only found out about threads this week and knocked up a Google Sheet to help me create a #buildinpublic thread. I even wondered if there was a tool out there to help create them. Well done.
@jones_spencera I’m new to the hashtag. Is #buildinpublic just for SaaS or is it for anything?
Now I think about it, I have about 4 budding subscription businesses. Maybe I'll use Twitter to #buildinpublic for all of them?
THE FIRST 90 DAYS - #buildinpublic

Day 1 (Tue 10-Nov-20)

Published an "I'm thinking of" post to my Facebook profile just before midnight. Went to bed.
