I've taken some time away from #buildinpublic and not worked on my side project for the past week.

Instead, I've spent some time working on my front-end skills.

Quite pleased with the way this side nav animates.

I've failed! I've done 30 mins of work today...just tweaking the copy on my landing page.

Another wild Friday night!

I've just switched CollectContent over to a freemium model.

I realised 14 days wasn't enough time to implement a new process for a freelancer or agency.

Now you have unlimited time to use 1 active project.

Demo fail! Internet died (it's been fine all day), rebooted everything Zoom decides to install an update. 😵

Luckily they stayed on and we had a good chat. They seemed to like the service, but we'll have to see if they sign up.

Created a new 'sitemap mode' so you can visualise your page structure.

I'm a visual person, so I find this easier to navigate than a list of pages.

Lunchtime update 🍝

The content editor now includes some "essential" features.

- Image uploader, with the option to download the original image
- Sticky toolbar as you scroll
- A 'View HTML' option to export your HTML

This is why I'm building CollectContent. I decided to write a blog post in Google Docs.

I've now pasted it into WordPress - why are there so many extra linebreaks!?

So frustrating. Imagine dealing with that every day and needing to clean up content.

I've updated the pricing page to include a 'Launch price' badge.

I plan on increasing the prices or adding other tiers as I create more valuable features. Not sure if I need to push the discount more?

In the past I would have spent the evening building another feature.

Tonight, I've been learning how to edit a video! New demo video posted on the landing page.

I'm not 100% happy with it though...need to spend more time learning. It's been fun though!

It's a nicer domain too, I wasn't happy using the 'with' prefix.
