I have written down the user stories for my MVP. As a user: - drag and drop pre designed, editable components to create a page -. save work as drafts or edit previously published pages - publish the page on custom domains - capture leads #buildinpublic#shipin30@indiestackHQ
Here are my goals for this week: x database modelling (users, pages, leads, domains) - Write 2 blog posts - Start coding the components up - Make text, links editable and buttons clickable #buildinpublic#shipin30@indiestackHQ
Day 1/n - I'm building a small app for creative writers to practice their craft. The app will give writers prompts and a place to write within certain constraints (time and word limit). Will document the journey in this thread.
Day 2/n - Integrated Stripe and came up with pricing options. Allowing 10 free prompts, then charge per prompt. Not a huge profit margin since the DaVinci engine of GPT3 is quite pricy ($.06/token), but money isn't the point on this one.
Day 3/n - Completely stuck on the best workflow for restricting number of prompts based on payment tiers. I see this as a good challenge though, and if I have this problem, others do too. So, once I figure this out, I'll make a video about it.
I'm still building out the subscription feature on SoundFiles. I was hoping to have it finished by today but it turns out my time estimation skills still need some work. Good learning experience.
It's a podcast player for the web, with an emphasis on community! Email intigration is still under development, so I'll need to manually verify emails soundfiles.herokuapp.com
