Hey all, this is my first tweet about my recent project. It is a web app that crawls the website of DB for cancelled trains, to store them in a database. These cancellations can then be accessed at any time through the UI. #buildinpublic#GCP#Flask shorturl.at/cvWZ4
With that in place I have a single, catch all route that serves up dist/index.html file. This way my #reactjs app handles all routing client side. Everything else is namespaced with /api so that it hits the #Flask backend which builds the JSON needed by the view #buildinpublic
A quick trick for generating mailto: links using #Flask. This is an easy way to get user feedback and reporting without building a huge backend infrastructure for communicating with your users. You just lean on email instead!
