We're building non-identifiable avatars into MoveLab® so that MoveMakers (clinicians, coaches, etc.) can visualise nuanced movements together with objective data. Anonymised at source on the Mover's device #orthopedics#physio#digitalhealth#buildinpublic
Congrats to @SenseRelief for their new app that was released recently on the app store! A 100% @ck_framework app. We learned so much from this projects and made significant improvements to the core library and template.
@AlternovaInc We have on our pipeline projects related to:
🏥 Cancer diagnosis 🏥 Parkinson’s diagnosis 👟 Athlete training 📱 Our first SaMD 🧠 Neuroscience research 📈 Several startups are building with us 📊 Data integration projects 👤 Psychiatry apps
@MCERSI@ck_framework What an exciting topic this is. There's so much potential to what can be achieved, and the doors are open for a new wave of apps to change the future of #healthcare.
Hopefully at @AlternovaInc we can help you build them!
@MCERSI@ck_framework BUT Device-MDDS that act as specialized medical hardware that can compromise the patient's health, even if they are used only to display data or results, are regulated.
@MCERSI Category Two is tricky because disease/condition related claims can only be based on references to how a healthy lifestyle can help living well with the chronic disease or the condition.
@MCERSI However, there are some exclusions. Apps that:
* Give administrative support to healthcare facilities * Encourage healthy lifestyles without reference to a disease or condition * Act as patient records
Our first project for the #digitalhealth industry started like in 2018 when we started working with @neuroscapeucsf supporting their main developer with a game called ACE Explorer.
@neuroscapeucsf ACE is currently upbeing used in #research as a “an engaging, interactive mobile cognitive assessment tool that evaluates multiple dimensions of cognitive control quickly and without ceiling or floor effects”.
@neuroscapeucsf The game is currently being used by thousands of people every month through Nexus and partner’s servers. It has been translated to Spanish, French, German, Hebrew, Russian, Latvian, and Chinese (wip).
@neuroscapeucsf It has taken years of #dev to get it to a stable, polished version that can be used in a variety of environments, with kids, teens, adults, and seniors.
@neuroscapeucsf Technically, Nexus runs on VueJs with Django Rest Framework and PostgreSQL. We also created a Unity library that can be included in their projects to easily set up the connection with Nexus.
@neuroscapeucsf From simple quick studies ran by Neuroscape, to studies ran by partners and even studies that are representative of the US population, Nexus should be able to handle it. Here's a video the client made: youtu.be/bEoDa-a1VUg
@neuroscapeucsf Nexus also provides an integration layer with survey software, manages study consent and eligibility, and provides tools for study coordinators to do their job easier and faster.
@neuroscapeucsf It was launched in Jan 2020 with a study for an app called APPRISE, and since then we have had studies to validate video game cognitive assessments, meditation apps, VR memory games, and more.
@neuroscapeucsf Nexus is a unified backend service for several applications and video games Neuroscape has developed. It manages participants, authentication, studies, enrollment, randomization, data collection, and analytics.
This is a project we built and currently maintain for @neuroscapeucsf. It is an RCT platform to do research with several apps they have been developing in the last years.
We're on a mission to be the best partner to all organizations that want to be in the #digitalhealth realm. In 2021 we started working with Stanford in CardinalKit (@ck_framework), a framework to collect data from wearables and medical devices.
To help people cope with their ailments by means of digital water. For example paruresis: 200+ million people worldwide (by paruresis .org). They are waiting for a solution! 👀 @unicornwitness build @MuteitHelper
@unicornwitness@Jacqfuller@MuteitHelper That's it. We're found that people can save a lot of money. If you live in Edinburgh and use water to cover toilet sounds, you may save about $90 every year and huge mount of fresh water!
@hwbhatti Another timely tweet! I am planning an outreach to Chief Compliance Officers of the top US Health Systems as a new way of introducing our solution (carestack.ai). Let me do exactly this and report back! 🤞🏾🙏🏽🙌🏾 #buildinpublic#digitalhealth#b2b#foundersales
We're currently working on an open source project called CardinalKit (@ck_framework). A collection of libraries and templates to fast-track building Digital Health apps.
