Working on a completely new color palette for Prime Design System 🔥(@primedesignkit) for @figma. This will be the best palette I've ever created. Why? Read more in this mini thread.
📣 Hello, Twitterverse! 👋 I'm a product designer in love with designing #designsystem! I'm really good at it 🤩. I am going to #buildinpublic Design System HQ. This is part of my #entrepreneurial#soloprenuer journey and I want to share my journey.
Exciting News! 🎉 Working on a new project with my amazing mentor @fori_jr! 🤝
Currently in progress, but couldn't resist sharing a sneak peek! Stay tuned for updates and follow me on Twitter for more behind-the-scenes action. 🌟 #WIP
Today, we start building in public with @webprintsapp on v1 of their #designsystem and #3Dprinting community and marketplace. Follow as we share posts + videos giving a behind-the-scenes look at how we design digital products and design systems from scratch. 🚀
We are so excited to embark on a journey with the @forgestudiosf Team in designing the product and brand experiences for what we build together and for the Webprints community.
Morning! We were heads down building yesterday, that project will be coming soon but we have another dashboard approved on @flutterflow! More details to follow =)
This is how it looks when you're building something from scratch. I'm sure It will get better in the upcoming weeks, so if you want to follow along with my journey, stay tuned! #buildinpublic#designsystem#figma#reactnative
I started to work on a few buttons for my design system and already feel like I need to make some major adjustments to the typography rules I set earlier.
Inspired after watching a few tutorials about variations on @figma. I'll spend a few hours working on different variations for my design system's buttons.

The first version of my buttons is ready! What do you think? I used Figma variations + the master component technique to easily change things like border-radius, border-with, text size, and button size in just a few seconds. #buildinpublic#designsystem#ui#ux
It was really tough to start with a blank canvas a define so many rules and constraints without having a single component. Now that I've been working on my buttons, it's getting easier 💪
Design system quick update: I've been working on a few variations for my switches. Still not sure if there is something wrong or not with what I designed.
What do you think? Is it easy to distinguish between toggled-off and disabled switches?
Design system update: I've been working on a few ideas for the radio buttons. I'm concerned about accessibility issues with the "disabled" state being hard to see, but I couldn't figure out a better solution yet. What do you think? #buildinpublic#designsystem
To represent the open state for a picker that supports search and multiple selections, I ended up building modal variations so you can toggle things like: - Search - Selected items count - Action buttons
I'm really excited to share with you some of the 40 different card variations I've been working on: - Floating/Fixed content - With/Without tags, subheadings & assets - Horizontal/Portrait mode - Left/Right asset
It was a bit of a challenge to remember what I was doing with git commands, but I'm super chuffed to have got it all working and can get started on the real stuff :-)
⭐️Design system update: I've been working on a few card components, and I wanted to share an example of what you can accomplish by combining auto-layout and constraints on Figma.
Truly responsive components, easy to use and adapt.
For the vertical card, I decided to also include a variations with floating content, applying a subtle opacity to the background without compromising legibility.
