Current Task:
Working on logic so that I can fetch the current days of the week so my weekly chart is updated 🥲

Hopefully it's as easy as it sounds so I can hit the gym!

I put together a database of over 1,500 Substack newsletters in the tech niche

Some use cases:
🔎 analyze competitors
📈 find newsletters to promote your product
📥 reach out to writers

DM me 'PUTIN SUCKS' if you want a copy 🫶

When you have a dashboard to design, which DB will you use? SQL or NoSQL?

#databases #buildinpublic
Two dev topics today:
🐳 @Docker based MySQL replication,
🦁@nestframework multiservices
Simpler than I thought!
Why am I researching those topics?

@lens_app_ needs a scalable way to calculate photo scores, user tags etc

QUICK MAFS!

I will be dropping something on SQL and NoSQL tomorrow. Hopefully, I can learn more about them.

- All SQL data are laid out in tables while NoSQL data are laid out in collections.
- SQL consists of rows/records and columns/fields while NoSQL consists of documents.

@eggheadio I've been using @supabase_io for a while now as my goto online DB. None of the record limits many of the others have (presently over 26.5 million) and instant API creation for external access of all tables!
