#21May2023 #BuildInPublic #DailyUpdate

10 days to go until #31May2023 deadline!

Main backend work's completed and now working on some frontend things.

The next step is to deploy & test.

This will take UI testing to a whole new level. I'm excited to start showing it to people!
More progress. Soon.

But saying 'soon' isn't enough, so I really wonder when I'll wrap things up?

I'll try to finish by end of this month. 2 weeks: MUST BE DONE WITH V1.

For those who don't know (which everyone basically): I'm building a UI automation test SaaS

#BuildInPublic
Going to continue as if I never stopped for a week or so (have to accept that that just sometimes happens)

#30April2023 #BuildInPublic #DailyUpdate:

A main component of my product's algorithm is done, including unit tests

Yes, I write unit tests even for my personal projects😳
#18April2023 #BuildInPublic #DailyUpdate:

Used AI to help me build and save time
More progress on the UI Exploration Algorithm

EndTests.com coming soon with cool features. I said this before, but after this one more feature, I will really switch to marketing
#BuildInPublic #15Apr2023 #DailyUpdate and #Thoughts

1. I was sick (again) and that got me feeling a little down. How can I succeed if I'm always sick?

2. Less sick now and I'm back to work.

3. Going to try to be healthier and careful so as to not get sick again.

Making good progress on auth.

Will keep all this auth work as a reusable, fully customizable, template.

Need to get the technical aspects out of the way so I can get back to building a useful "product" rather than a "software solution."
#5Apr2023 #BuildInPublic #DailyUpdate

Lots of work for my day job. Never gonna give up though:

My objective now is have a modern "software development" template that allows me to do things my way (yes-code) so I can control the details.

This project template will contain (1/2)

Kind of disappointed about the amount of time I'm spending working on the basics.

All I've been doing is "struggle" with ASPNET Core authentication. These things should work out of the box, and yet here I am spending days on the basics.
#2Apr2023 #BuildInPublic #DailyUpdate

Today I worked on email verification. My product allows people to control browsers for UI testing which consumes resources, so should have at least some user verification

Also good for account notifications and maybe one day password reset
Really upset about how I spend my time and my efficiency levels.

#BuildInPublic #DailyUpdate #23Mar2023: nothing new.
#BuildInPublic #DailyUpdate: Got unstuck with db issue I faced yesterday

Plan to save "exploration nodes" so users can load them little by little instead of getting a huge JSON payload
#19Mar2023 #DailyUpdate: kind of disappointed that I created a tricky bug, had to go back in commits to see how the bug was introduced...

ChatGPT and Google searches both didn't help, so I'm on my own diagnosing the issue...

#SaaS #BuildInPublic
Ok glad I didn't forget again! Here comes my #DailyUpdate for #18Mar2023!

Working on architectural things. Basically the role of the various projects in the system I'm building and their relationships with each other...

Technical, but essential

#BuildingInPublic #BuildInPublic
I think I'm going to launch my product with basic UI. I'm an software developer and my design skills aren't so good.

The image below shows a tree view, part of my E2E and UI Test Automation #SaaS, that shows an "exploration" of a site to be tested...

#BuildInPublic #DailyUpdate
Almost missed my #BuildInPublic #DailyUpdate!

Today I got distracted majorly by full time job as well as some social activities.

Still building out the UI before I start pitching my E2E and #UI Tests automation #SaaS to people again!
Figuring out the UI for the "exploration" page of my E2E/UI tests #SaaS.

Is it going to be a list of separate use cases? Or some sort of tree view?
