I really enjoyed the #buildinpublic aspect of #100DaysOfNoCode, but with time constraints (full time job + a little baby) I'm going continue the daily habit of 30 or so mins of Building/learning & sharing as I go.
Today I was supposed to build my personal wiki using @NotionHQ !
But 'cause I ❤️@NotionHQ & use it everyday, I already had one. 😉 So I just went in and updated it, added a few more pages, played around with the design. #buildinpublic#TechJourney
This weekend, I planned to participate in the #100DaysOfNoCode MVP Bootcamp #BuildWeekend and started working on a PWA for open water swimmers. My goal was to help them find places to swim wherever they travel. twitter.com/iam_laurad/sta…

📝 Updates: I've been thinking about how users will use the app. To encourage the crowdsourcing of swim locations, I've decided to add a 'my swims' section to the app.

Right, off to watch the @nocodemba videos on building a Tinder-style app in Glide. I'm not wedded to the swipe function, but the search/ filtering function is definitely needed.
Added some fake user profiles to make it easier to build out the app's interface. Shout out to @wrenmeinberg @callmeed @ysphotomedia and Kevin Erdvig for their photography on @unsplash 🎁
I asked ChatGPT to rate my business idea and give me suggestions on how to improve it. This will be my first #buildinpublic project once I've finished the next #100DaysOfNoCode section
👋 If anyone is a Backendless wiz and fancies talking me through the basics, I’d be happy to return the favour (I can help with anything marketing related).
And I wanna know… how do you keep going when your builds get hard? 🤔
In the spirit of #buildinpublic sharing the progress so far on Oink. It's a piggy bank w/ workflow for sporting teams who have a system of "fining" throughout the season, (usually to fund an end-of-season trip).
While learning to code is 💯, keep an eye on #nocode & #lowcode revolution! 🌐 Which platforms will soar? 🤔 Share your top picks - I've only dipped my toes in! 🌊 @100daysnocode
Hi Twitter! Starting my 24 hr 0→ MVP (later than planned 🤣) I'm building the digital version of a "now and next" board, so I can solve my own problem + maybe help someone else! Follow along if you like! #buildinpublic#NoCode#100daysofnocode
🎉New feature (in 2 days this time) for Small Bets Manager! 🖱️ A few clicks, and you can easily rearrange the order of projects in your portfolio, thanks to the handy drag & drop.
Challenged myself to create 5⃣ timed @softr_io apps in 24 hours ⏲️using 10 random strangers' @airtable bases. Had to fill in some data holes & limited myself to basic fields & filters since I'm still a noob.
🤓New strategy for learning to get unstuck/unlost in @airtable: look at strangers' bases, study the fields they linked, and infer the sequence of fields created first, PRIOR to linking.
Just like an old fave Sesame Street vignette. ❤️ #buildinpublic
❌Had 2 more Raynaud's attacks today: right after Softr workshop & right before Softr 1:1 ❌Going to bed still stuck in Softr ➡️as soon as I sort data, the entire list block disappears 👻 👹Convinced that Softr hates me #buildinpublic#failinpublic
Worked on @yepdotso landing page for new @softr_io donut MVP🍩. Had a Raynaud's attack mid-copywriting for the block on body flare-ups. Clearly a sign from the no-code gods that the MVP will work & make me a bajillion $. #buildinpublic#Raynaudsinpublic
Day 8 of @100daysnocode. Today I worked on learning more about APIs. Feel free to check out my mock newsletter site here: memenewsletter.carrd.co Trying to stay consistent and accountable to doing something every day.
Building in public is hard! Worked on this habit tracker to help keep me accountable. Cheers to a new week of hopefully posting my progress every day. 💪
