After doing some frontend work, I've realised I can't replicate my initial design 1:1.

Well, I could, but that would take a lot of extra hours :/

And since we're trying to move quickly, I'll probably have to be satisfied with a "good enough" implementation

First time I've had to design a Facebook ad :D

Plan is set up ads leading to our landing page, where we collect emails.

Then, email the people with hopes of getting some interviews done.

Feedback is greatly appreciated!

Landing page all done! Took ~24 hours

Make sure to check out the full version in the comments- this is just the hero!

We went for something beyond a heading+subheading+CTA, in order to (hopefully) stand out.

Should be live pretty soon too :D

How I designed a landing page in 24hrs:

1. Wrote down the value prop, the problem we solve and how we solve it
2. Put all of the information in fitting components
3. Stuck to common design patterns
4. Followed basic alignment rules

Sharing the results 2morrow :D

One of the first things I'm tackling is competitor research.

Sure, too much research is a bad thing, analysis paralysis etc...

But, if you have no clue about what your competitors are doing, how are you going to beat them?

Excited to announce that I'll be joining a crypto startup as a founding UX Designer!

It's still pretty early stage, but there has been a decent amount of validation done.

Best of all- I'll be sharing all the lessons I learn with the #buildinpublic community :D
@euboid I've noticed that #buildinpublic helps provide founders with extrinsic motivaiton.

And of course, that makes it more likely that they finish their project😄
@flaugher Congratulations on taking the #buildinpublic plunge 😄

It allows random people (like me) to see what cool things others are building.

How long do you reckon it will take you to build this product? I have no clue how fast a blockchain startup can be set up 😅
Combining intrinsic and extrinsic motivation is a recipe for success. Tweeting using the #buildinpublic hashtag is a great way to provide yourself with extrinsic motivation.
@AndreaPerino1 #buildinpublic is not only a great way for people (like me!) to discover your project, but it is also a great way to keep yourself motivated. Tweeting a "weekly goals" list has also been super beneficial for me 😄
