After a lot of struggle got Handsontable to render custom cells.

It really shouldn't be this hard. The sad news is there are still bugs with it.

Going to try to switch to Ag-grid Enterprise.

I got a call from a CTO friend who runs a 100-person startup to join a brainstorming session with the CEO.

It was a blast; we set 3 short-term objectives and talked about a grander vision to rally the team.

Spent the day trying out three different UI Kits:

Created a small test bed to run the plugin UI outside of figma.

This way I can quickly try new design ideas and see the results without opening/closing the plugin.

Spent the day obsessing about trying to make the perfect demo. You know like the original Dropbox-style demo.

I failed. 🙈

Perfection is counterproductive, instead, my focus now is on smaller use case demos and small improvements.

Given existing competitors, a few chats with potential customers and getting the first few early access requests, I'm starting to feel I'm onto something.

💰 Day 287 - Cost and Pricing

Known costs + small margin for unknown costs = early pricing.

Goal: test with 10 customers and uncover unknown cots.

Challenge: use-case-specific pricing. Do I create a new LP & put prices there?

Did something I've never done before 😳.

Manual work before the software automation is built. Learned a ton!

Friday is for shippers 🚢.

Took way too long, but the new LP is up 😁.

It is simple and next week is about building the POC + images for customer 1 and outreach to find the next 10 early customers.

Made the landing page work on mobile -- (a bit of a struggle with components in Tailwind).

Tried to get invites working through passwordless email login. Too complex will keep it simple next.
