I think another pivot in PretzelBox's positioning is needed.
While it IS - an email inbox for your domain✅ - and like Hey.com lets you blog from your email✅ - and acts as a file store✅ the current positioning is not working.
🚀Feature alert🚀 You know how you can use Imgur without an account to share images but if you lose the link, your upload is basically unrecoverable? @PretzelBoxcc neatly solves that- 1. Email your images to [email protected] 2. We'll reply with shareable links #buildinpublic
I’m in that stage of my project where I have my main Tw account and a Tw account for the project but neither of them have much engagement so I RT and ♥️ from one account to the other without shame 💪🏽
You *could* listen to the audio but be warned that it's super late here and I'm half asleep so it's mostly mumble, mumble but I didn't want to close the day without sharing an update with #buildinpublic, so here goes 👇🏽
#buildInPublic a first look at PretzelBox - the inbox for your domain. 1. Buckets - the strip on top lists buckets. Incoming emails sit in buckets defined by the TO email address 2. CDN: all your public facing images/files 3. Bookmarks: shareable emails 4. Blog/Fwd rules: 👇🏽
Had a loooooong sales call yesterday about @pretzelbox w/ another small club which wants an online presence to push info to members. I think that’s going to be Pb’s sweet spot => clubs, instructor led classes, restaurants
I really need to do a lot of writing and cold outreach today. Coding and feature development is my safe space but that won't pay the bills, having paying customers will!
Plus, writing down/about everything as I'm coding will be the de facto docs for future me
I'm so chuffed about how we are handling sorting of incoming emails in LIFO order for @PretzelBoxcc. It's downright elegant and uses core S3 features to guarantee consistency with a little app level pixie dust to make it even better. Will share details soon! #buildinpublic
