Making good progress for a launch with basic MVP. Was working on 1 app but pivoted to something I think will resonate well with the #buildinpublic audience.

Are there indies who had full-time / 9-5 jobs but went part-time to support their own products?

Seems like it would be a neat idea: Have a stable cash flow at reduced work hours, and you can focus more deeply on your own work.

Personally, I got into film photography last year. Yesterday I got this small film camera built in 1972, a true relic!

Did some work + indie dev from the public library today!

The best part: found a way to simplify my development and reduce cognitive overload, allowing me to iterate faster.

Very important when working 9-5. Our limitation welcomes creativity!

I like the idea of having 2+ projects to work on at the same time. Stuck with one? Hop on to the next!

@jimmyk2084 I’ve got a partner too, and work full time. I definitely feel we have to make time for everything and everyone we care about, so that might mean taking it slow with the #buildinpublic work, one day at a time.

At least that’s what I’m trying to do :)

I've been tweaking my site copy and talking to potential clients. A few people have joined the waitlist, so I'm pushing the demo further 🌱

Had some trouble with the auth steps and trying to hide non-public pages from the crowd, but nothing that can't be fixed!

Finding a domain has proven difficult. I may have to pivot my branding a bit due to the competitive market, and 1 domain having a very similar name.Any advice to a first-time founder would be greatly appreciated!

I'm currently building a product, have spoken to a few potential clients for pains, testing basic UX with some.

But I don't know much about marketing. Should I release a landing and collect emails?
