Okay #startuptwitter - how would you guys feel if I started livestreaming my #buildinpublic? My place is hella messy, but if anyone needs a #webdeveloper to help them build them a website in public - hit me up!
A little late for #tweet100, but I've been building.
Released a new feature on my personal site, took forever learning #TypeScript on the fly. I've got some #webdev work to do for @teamaoventures today, creating a young author's website.
1. I didn't know @jayclouse was on Twitter 2. There's apparently a #tweet100 challenge, and I'm joining 3. To hack it, I'll also recommit to #100daysofcode 4. This is practically #buildinpublic 5. I'm posting tips & progress on marketing, content, product, features, & games built
Hey #startuptwitter, hiring a designer is expensive, and creative marketplaces can be pricey.
BUT! If you #buildinpublic and you don't want to overthink aesthetics or cost, hit up @ismimao for her ridiculous promo on #design templates, personally customized on @canva
Hour 5, #GenericAgency finally has a marketing campaign which @ismimao created. At the moment, I'm just creating a mock-up using @tailwindcss while hoping everything goes alright 🙏
HOUR ONE log - @theonikomao and I spend far too much time arguing over project names and TLDs that I’m sure @Porkbun’s sighing. - fleshed out idea, used local websites for examples, cringed - general visual direction and site structure - project name: #genericagency
After being frustrated at my own CV for ages, I decided to whip out @Figma and apply #uxdesign practices to start building my resume and rebuild my website.
Been discussing with @hanketmao on the direction for @getpalindrome and @tadaimaoco since morning & gotta say - I'm excited to announce our upcoming redesign and release of both sites and their products.
Midway building @getpalindrome on @webflow - I suddenly realized that in order to complete the site, I also had to complete the app first in order to finish the website.
Well, for tonight's #buildinpublic - I'm going to try building an entire web app solely on mobile... Partially cos I broke my laptop, partially cos I wanted to see if it's possible.
We're 10 hours away from launch. The past day was spent picking up code snippets, trying to figure out how the #JAMstack works and sketching out the Website's wireframe.
Had doubts about if I could do it, then I was reminded to just KISS
About 3 hours later, I still haven't put down a single line of code. I've instead been creating the documentation for the site, what are the requirements necessary.
A part of me is wondering if that's a good idea, welp🤷♀️
After reading an article about Product Design Documentation, I decided to throw anxiety out the window and start redesigning our website while hosting our documentation at the side.
