My website is up (not the product yet). What do you think? regardingapp.com #buildinpublic
I'm making a Slack app that lets you send messages to others without interruptions. No popups, no little notification ball on your icon. Does having fewer interruptions when using Slack appeal to you? #buildinpublic
Happy to say that my new #Slack app, Regarding, started development today! Stay tuned for more updates. To those who have been providing feedback on the concept, website, and wireframes: thank you! #buildinpublic
Do you test your website copy with A/B testing, asking prospective customers, or both? #buildinpublic
Use a website template or get a graphic designer to make something custom? What do you think is best? #buildinpublic #indiehacker
@KwantBuilder @MarkusEicher70 I don't think most solopreneurs' target market is other solopreneurs. It isn't for me, at least. I'm not sure why I do the #buildinpublic thing, except that I (sort of) do. As for risk, yeah, I don't think there is much. You're not going to be able to rip off an idea from a tweet
When you're validating your idea, how many people do you get to look at your wireframes before you decide if your app is a go/no go? #buildinpublic
I'm looking for people who use #Slack and have 20+ people in their workspace to validate or invalidate an app idea. Amazon or Starbucks gift cards on offer for your time 😜, should only take 15 minutes. Any takers? #buildinpublic
Would a product with this description interest you?

Send FYIs, questions, and ToDos in Slack without interruptions. Kind of like email, but better.

Click Like if you like the description. Anything else if you don't.

Always amazed and impressed by how open and helpful other founders are to offering advice. Spoke to two tonight and reaching out to more.

If you're designing a new product, be sure to reach out to people in your space. Advice is priceless.

I bought a new domain. Am I officially a serial entrepreneur now? #indiehackers #buildinpublic
How to do marketing:
1. Pick something you think will work
2. Pay for it and try your best to measure it
3. Learn that most of what you thought would work doesn't
4. Keep doing the thing that actually works
Repeat.

@SlackHQ @MicrosoftTeams me and my one follower want to know... I'm looking to build an app for both platforms. Pitch me on whether I should do Teams or Slack first. Developers, developers, developers. #buildinpublic
Looking for people to validate my new idea for a #Slack/#MicrosoftTeams app. I'll post to LinkedIn. Any other ideas where I can find potential users? #buildinpublic
Should I develop my app for #MicrosoftTeams or #Slack first? Investigating...

Something I learned in my first business was that "Build a better mousetrap and the world will beat a path to your door" and "If you build it they will come" are simply not true. Build a great product, sure, but marketing is huge and expensive. You need both. #buildinpublic
I spent some time chatting with other founders in my space today. It always amazes me how generous entrepreneurs are with their time. Did you contact other founders when you were researching your new product or did you jump right in with both feet? #buildinpublic
