This week I am porting Read Me Aloud (iPad only) to iPhone. After some experimentation, I decided to inject the layout as an environment variable in #swiftui. There's still a lot of broken stuff, but it's coming together nicely.

With my apps I usually go with the ASO-organic route, looking for App Store traffic, but for Nota ABC I decided to add a long-term SEO strategy. I made a simple ABC notation wiki, which explains how ABC music notation works: notabc.app/abc/

These last few days I've been focused on Read Me Aloud. I did some minor fixes and added new IAPs. Yes, the most important change was adding App Store metadata for 22 languages! The app get little downloads, I want to see if this metadata overload does its magic.

My 1.0 iOS app was rejected because the paywall currently displays only an IAP, but I added 10 (5 products at 2 price points); this is because I want to do @RevenueCat price experiments. Is it kosher to tell Apple the paywall is dynamic? Any suggestion?

🛠️ Yesterday I went against my "best practice" instincts and developed a small PHP (!) script for a new feature.
I needed to allow users to share some music data with a public link pointing to a dynamic page.
I had to choose between a fast and a clean solution.

Today I crossed a nice milestone, 1000 MMR🎉
For reference, it's almost a year since I added AR purchases to Menu Plan and MMR started growing.
