What do you (future authors and subscribers) think about this flow? Does it make sense?

Please reply with feedback.

This is the idea of how newsletter bundling shall feel for the user: #buildinpublic #buildinginpublic

πŸ”Έ On the details page of a newsletter, News Bundler shall list all bundles that already contain this newsletter.
πŸ”Έ Maybe a subscriber likes one of them and buys it.
I made a daily checklist to balance writing with software-making and teaching (my jobs):
πŸ”Έ Read yesterday's notes
πŸ”Έ Develop one feature
πŸ”Έ Take notes about thoughts and learnings
πŸ”Έ Invite 2 new authors to News Bundler
πŸ”Έ Share #buildinpublic
πŸ”Έ Ask questions to community

More and more authors are being added to the newsletter directory on News Bundler.

Next feature: Displaying the latest newsletter issues on the profile page of each newsletter.

Later: Allowing authors to sell several newsletters as a bundle to raise their income.

Okay. I can confirm that Friday is definitely a good day to deploy software.

Yesss! #buildinpublic
Working on the launch of the News Bundler MVP for tomorrow.

Friends and family have begun testing. πŸ˜€ #buildinpublic

Today, I added a "how does it work" section to the new homepage. I took a Twitter thread and visualized it on the page.

Looks good for now: #buildinpublic
Today, I continued to work towards the MVP of News Bundler.

My goal is to have something demonstrable to newsletter authors on Feb 10th.

#buildinpublic
The result of today:
It's now possible to register several newsletters with News Bundler, and to edit their properties again, later.

Will release this end of next week to get some feedback from real newsletter authors about this.

Wrote another Atomic Essay today for #ship30for30

Now back to coding my SaaS for newsletter authors. #buildinpublic
Today, I wrote code for News Bundler.

The first function is beginning to work. A newsletter author can register their newsletter so that other authors can see it and team up.

So excited to have something to show! #buildinpublic
Yay, I'm really happy about my progress on @newsbundler today! I completed the database and backend API for the crowdsourced newsletter directory.

Now it's all a matter of frontend design for the MVP (so this will be opening soon).

The first feature that I'm going to build for newsbundler:

- A free, crowd-sourced directory of great paid newsletters
- You will be able to sign up and add your favourite writers!

Let's foster independent writer collectives, together!

This week, I learned three things that I need to do in order to de-risk my new business @newsbundler.

h/t to @brendanmcadams, especially for making me aware of the third aspect: addressing "customer fear".

Basic layout is live now. Still need to work on the email signup form for the waitlist. #buildinpublic
