Decided to keep it high-level today with a user onboarding flow. Do you do user flows for your projects? If so, how deep do you go? #buildinpublic#nocode#ux#figjam
Initial run through of the database. When you are designing your db do you put in the next several phases? or make it as simple as possible for the first phase? #buildinpublic
Inspired by @_gregoryjohn's session from @JJEnglert's Holiday party, I jumped into @figma to create the revised 2023 design for my Saas. Initial heor section. Will probably refine it as I get more done. UI kit is @UntitledUI. #buildinpublic
Trying to decide if I keep the current onboarding which creates the user, account, and profile and then puts them on the portal where they can then create listings. Or combine them and make one long-ass onboarding. Does anyone have any thoughts? #buildinpublic#buildwithbubble
Back to working on my Saas. Yesterday I updated the look to be a bit warmer and cleaner. The next part is to create the onboarding process. Does anyone have a good example of onboarding?
I recently reconfigured my header to be more accessible. My next challenge is to navigate onto a focus group by tabbing. Does anyone have a good solution for this in @bubble? Some JS, maybe?
Sometimes you want to change from a horizontal scroll on the desktop to a vertical scroll on mobile in @bubble. At the moment, you aren't able to do that conditionally. Here is how you can do it with some CSS - youtu.be/yrLuf67wWVo
Field-tested my app today while on a walk. 1. I should bring my glasses or make the fonts a bit bigger 2. Not everything needs to be required, I can fill in the details when sitting down for coffee 3. I need to make it easier to take action #buildinpublic#buildwithbubble
I've been head down finishing up with my Saas project on @bubble. Here is the first analysis on Lighthouse. Better than I expected! Time for some testing and tweaking.
I've been working on an additional starter template for @ProNoCoders NoCode School Foundation 1. Here is a sneak peek of the home and portal pages. The next session starts on July 11.
Where is the placeholder text on the homepage from?
Spent the day finishing @buildcamp's Bootcamp. Now it's time to incorporate everything from @ProNoCoders's NoCode School. Experimented with new images and colors for the homepage. I think I still need to tweak the colors. What do you think? #buildinpublic#buildwithbubble
Needed a distraction today so followed along with @_gregoryjohn's new @buildcamp Bootcamp. Great stuff. Ended up with a new login/sign-up for my Saas. Which do you prefer? Shadow or no shadow?
Following up on my auto dark mode and light mode on @bubble from yesterday I've made a video. I'll create an instructional post on it tomorrow. Let me know any questions or comments. Thank you!
By targeting @bubble's existing classes and using the Classify plugin by Julien Allard I was able to use media queries to respond to the user's device settings. The CSS is in the Page HTML Header. Let me know if you want to see how. #buildinpublic#BuildwithBubble
