After a long time of procrastination, I finally decided to finish one of my many projects.
The final day of the #buildinpublic with #nocode challenge.

The Fitness App built using @kelpapp, @airtable, and @Strava is now completed. Below you have screenshots of the app.
Day 8 of #buildinpublic with #nocode

I finally managed to connect the @Strava API with @kelpapp it took me more than expected but now is working smoothly and I can track all the excercises that I do daily with it.

Finally I am starting to see the end of it, light at the end..
Day 7 of #buildinpublic with #nocode was spent more on research and testing.

I wanted to connect the @googledevs fit API with @kelpapp but somehow the google API lacked good tutorials and documentation or I couldn't understand them 😅.

Tomorrow I will experiment with Strava API
Continuing my #buildinpublic with #NoCode tools today on my Day 6, I worked on entering the data/exercises from @kelpapp to @airtable.

The whole process went smooth as I had already learned the part of how the form submissions work.

Picture of how my form looks on the app.
Day 5 of my #buildinpublic with #nocode tools

✅Today on my plan was to work on connecting the @airtable database through API with @kelpapp while I struggled a bit with the connection part by not using auth token at the end I made it work.

🔴Tomorrow's plan: #CRUD operations
Day 4 of #buildinpublic with #nocode

✅Done: Created an @airtable table and inserted some sample data I can use later.

🧠Learned: How powerful is #airtable and why I should use it more as my database

🔴Next task: Connect the table with @kelpapp
Day 4 of #buildinpublic with #nocode

✅Done: Created an @airtable table and inserted some sample data I can use later.

🧠Learned: How easy is to create tables in #airtable and made me realize I should use more as my database

🔴Next task: Connect the table with @kelpapp
Day 3 of #buildinpublic with #nocode
✅Done: Built the BMI calculator using the form component to submit data.

🧠Learned: How the Kelp form component works and the KelpQL for data transformation.

🔴Next task: Create an @airtable database for the exercises
Day 2 of #buildinpublic

✅Done: Sketching and planning the dashboard to get a better idea of what I want to achieve.

🧠Learned: Having a good user experience is one of the most important factors for an app to succeed.

🔴Next task: Build a BMI calculator
After following the #nocode movement for so long and reading @MeetKevon’s guide on #buildinpublic I decided to join the movement.

So in the next period, I am going to build a data-driven dashboard that would visualize my fitness and would track my weight loss using @kelpapp.
