The last two days have been so packed! We launched the new book cover editor yesterday and are walking through the process with some clients today. It's going to be so good as we're another big step closer to full automation. #meminto#buildinpublic
We are almost finished with our new development, a dynamic cover editor. It will be released next week. I'm excited to see what covers people create. Biggest update in the last 2 years. #buildinpublic#meminto#startup
I'm currently trying to use targeted Google Ads campaigns to draw people's attention to Meminto who want to buy a gift for their 60th, 70th or 80th birthday. After all, most older people already have everything they've always wanted - just not their own book yet.
Today a new book of fantastic stories went to press. The first with more than 10 integrated videos - we are already excited about the feedback and videos that will soon emerge from it!
Time is always running out for me. Every day at 5:40 p.m., #Alexa in my office says "Air conditioning off. Soon closing time". I wonder why 17.40 comes early every day. I'M NOT DONE YET!!!
We do paid advertising in the #AppStore for the #Meminto app. I notice that we get several invoices from Apple every day, each amounting to 0.17 to 0.25 euros. Does anyone have any idea why they don't add this up to larger sums? #ads#buildinpublic
Crazy how bugs sometimes appear out of nowhere. At the moment, answers to questions entered in the Android and iOS app can be saved, but they are not displayed. Why no one has noticed this yet - no idea. Will be fixed. #meminto#buildinpublic#bugreport
Never forget to make backups. I was just saved once again! The error that had crept in had already happened in November 2022. Fortunately, everything is backed up redundantly.
Another small improvement: the new cover editor is now more connected to #Meminto. As soon as it loads, we transfer the title and author's name directly to the cover. This is special in that the editor is not native to us.
We're currently thinking about the best way to integrate videos into books. Atm, it's very simple via QR codes. But we want to embed them. Create that Harry Potter feeling when you watch it. I'm curious to see which #glasses#Apple will introduce to us.... #buildinpublic
Meminto Stories - at least what it is today - we started in 2018. It's gone through considerable changes since then. But you always seem to end up somewhere else. What startup ever ends up in the place you want it to be ;-) #buildinpublic
