New month, new project!

The project itself is not interesting - it's relaunching my personal website.

The tech stack though got me very excited!

Made some good progress with my side project emojitofavicon .com

🔸 Fully converted the Vue 3 app to Nuxt with SSR
🔸 Implemented lazy loading for more emojis
🔸 Fixed bugs regarding skin tone selection & scrolling

Next is layout & UI, copy & SEO 🔥

Choosing to build a project in public to learn Vue.js was such a great decision. 🙌

No boring tutorials, but real practical knowledge.

I started to learn Vue.js, now I am already deep diving into Nuxt & rewriting my app for it.

In the past month I continued working on my side project emoji to favicon.

These are my accomplishments:
- Added a whole list of 1,800+ emojis
- Implemented favicon code generation
- Implemented emoji skin tone variations

For a side project I am researching how to store data, could need some help.

I want to store data about emojis (maybe as JSON), be able to search that data (text) and access it from a Vue app.

What are my options (SQL, NoSQL, serverless, ...)?

Decided to finally deep dive into Vue 3. 🚀

But I don't want to learn by following tutorials or building boring to do lists.

Instead I decided to build: Emoji to Favicon.

It will allow you quickly generate favicons from emojis and just copy the code to use it.

I found some resources, but most of them require at least attribution and are only semi free to use.
