I have a confession to make: I have spent the last few days chasing a shiny new idea. I had an idea over the weekend and went all in, and have made no progress on notKiwi because of it

Sometimes, focus is the hardest part! #tweet100 #buildinpublic
Goals for notKiwi by next week (this week is all about MVP for me):

- Clean & easy sign-up/ login for users
- "Invite others" feature for rooms (similar to Zoom, hopefully)
- Simple would-you-rather game [maybe]

I've been loving @atomicfusionio since I start using it a couple weeks ago. My productivity on Bubble is easily 10x what it was before—great work, team!

#tweet100 #buildinpublic
I mentioned last week that I was going to join a community, and I've narrowed it down to two: @indie_worldwide & @RamenClubHQ

Q: My product(s) are mostly b2b, is there one community that does that better? #indiehackers #buildinpublic
My favorite bit of copy so far is the subheading on my icebreakers page: "The crème de la crème of questions, hand-picked just for you!"

Thanks for the help, GPT3! I wouldn't have thought of it myself #tweet100 #buildinpublic
I spent over an hour yesterday trying to schedule a Bubble backend workflow. All I wanted was for my icebreakers to be randomized once a day...

I finally found a great @PlanetNoCode video about using cron-jobs and was done in 5 min! #tweet100 #buildinpublic
I've been having so much fun using @OpenAI and GPT3 to build my product! I'm able to generate hundreds of icebreaker questions with ease

And, after some light prompt engineering, the questions are actually pretty good! #tweet100 #buildinpublic
Yesterday @ThursdayByPLG relaunched on PH which was my first time seeing their product. It’s really similar to what I want to do with notKiwi and they’re absolutely crushing it.

The kicker is it’s completely free— how do I compete with something like that? #buildinpublic
I felt like I was faking it until now but with my product linked in my bio, I'm officially on the #buildinpublic train! #tweet100
This week in my #buildinpublic challenge is all about co-founders, but instead of searching for a partner I was thinking about joining a community instead

Here are the communities I'm considering joining:
@indie_worldwide
@RamenClubHQ
@nocodefounders

Am I missing any?
I announced earlier today that my site was now live, but I noticed that my link preview still displayed the Bubble default tags. A quick search revealed that I had not assigned any SEO or metatags to my pages...

Oh well, now I know! #tweet100 #buildinpublic
As much as I want to delay my website launch and spend more time perfecting it, I did this challenge to release early and iterate. I’m planning to tie up loose ends and go live tonight!

#tweet100 #buildinpublic
It's funny, I started this #buildinpublic challenge as a way to structure my product building and share with others. There's no other strings attached but I feel like I'm taking it really seriously! #tweet100
I need to keep reminding myself to be creative and exciting with my product copy. I want users to have fun and be entertained, and not have to read mind-numbing corporate jargon

#tweet100 #buildinpublic
Finding a dominant product that hasn't released an update in months (or years!) is like falling into a goldmine. It's a clear signal of an opportunity to swoop in and take those customers

#tweet100 #buildinpublic
Having busy weeks without much time spent building just makes me that much more motivated to build the first chance I get. It's exciting stuff! My to-build list is growing by the day...

#tweet100 #buildinpublic
Building your landing page can very quickly become overwhelming. I'm trying to concentrate only on the most important aspects for my launch next week

What I'm working on, and a quick preview of what's to come— everything else I can add later! #tweet100 #buildinpublic
I was having trouble with my landing page copy and decided to take a break and read a bunch of competitor reviews

After 20 minutes, I had a ton of new copy ideas and a much better idea of what I wanted to solve! #tweet100 #buildinpublic
Things are really starting to heat up. The last two weeks have been a cake walk (product idea & branding) but this week gets serious-- it's website building time!

#tweet100 #buildinpublic
It may not seem like much but the name took me a long time to come up with. I knew I wanted a short, inexpensive .com domain that was fun and easy to remember

I think the "not" part is fun—it's silly and I hope it sticks with my users! #buildinpublic
