Indiehacking is really a roller coaster ride..

After feeling down about not being able to do enough marketing, I woke up to 2 wonderful notifications this morning!

User acquisition has been tricky for us

1. One-time launches across platforms like PH, BetaList etc: brought in high volume traffic but temporarily

2. Ads on Google, Facebook & Insta: conversion to paid users was low

3. SEO: has been the best bet so far 💃

Although I had set some target countries, we were getting traffic from outside these locations

Recommendation: In addition to specifying target locations, use 'Presence' under 'Location options' and not 'Presence or interest'
