In The Lean Startup fashion(or #buildinpublic), before coding anything, I should create a teaser website to gauge interest, but I wonder how people would discover it? Only through Google? Should I advertise it before writing code? How are people validating their ideas those days?

SaaS platform idea:
A service that allows defining rules based on crypto indicators and sends notifications whenever those rules are satisfied. Bonus - users can subscribe to each others' notifications?

Opinions? Name idea?
