When it came to designing the user journey to finding the #projectpathos website and/or mobile app, this is what I came up with (and what @theonikomao was simultaneously in awe of but horrified by). Made with @WhimsicalPowers.
I see that @theonikomao didn’t add the emoji OR our project in his tweet. We’re attempting to #buildinpublic Project Pathos: a mental health initiative to prevent creator burnout. Our present landing page is at pathos.crd.co but the actual site and alpha app - 1/2
Because the state of my nation AND my mental health is absolutely dismal - I’d like to do a less depressing thing. If you’re related to the tags: #buildinpublic#creator or #startup, send over underrated newsletters you think I should read and I’ll give it a read.
This is a basic overview of what I hope to achieve with @maotopiasocial @humanityincasia@getpalindrome korefortynine and metropolis. My team is small, and we are young but we will create a movement for creators, by creators.
@nicholasjkurian This is far too true. In the ASEAN region, creatives are often dismissed as crazy or disruptive, chaotic folk with no direction leading to significant talent and brain drain whereby the blind are leading the blind left behind.
Something I do want to eventually put up on the site (which @theonikomao is building on @webflow) is one of those awesome @shoutoutso_ walls and maybe even find more ways to integrate the @FlurlyApp store into the site.
I abandoned my #buildinpublic thread for some time but: - I launched a newsletter! - I’m making a podcast - I’m holding my first (internal, but okay) class on how to use Palindrome today! - I also applied for @real_alethea’s Social Media role because let’s be real, I have bills.
