@_BuildInPublic_@ThatChristinaG I'll start :) Hey, #buildinpublic Twitter! My name's Boris and I'm building @meet_able - a new experience that unites browsing, web search, thinking, writing & personal knowledge. I tweet about startup management and my learnings from this journey.
Hard choices in the absence of data, even using the SDR method, are really hard. Evolutionary change of user's behaviour vs revolutionary. We decided to take the risks and go for incrementally revolutionary. I'm terrified, but we're advancing.
#buildinpublic It seems not that easy to come out with propper messaging for your product when you have no audience to test it with. Have to start building community.
#buildinpublic I learned that trying to solve the same hard creative task for several days in a row drains creativity. Have to switch to other tasks, but too many context switches drain the energy... How do you find your balance?
2/2 It will inform our roadmap and OKRs. Frankly, the result was somewhat expected for me. I admit that I'm biased, but failures were in a different part of a product than I expected.
Always test early products and prototypes! And ALWAYS talk to users! #buildinpublic
1/2 Earlier I tweeted here: twitter.com/iamborisv/stat… that we gave @meet_able's PoC to ppl to test. Today we gathered feedback. Overall experience was bad. But it showed the major failures and it clarified what we should focus on building next. #buildinpublic
Last week we assumed our PoC for @meet_able is ready for early tests, so we distributed it among our team and a couple of ppl around it. So currently, we have only 7 testers, although we planned to have 21 by the end of Q3. I doubt we'll get that amount on time... #buildinpublic
1/ Lately, I've been busy with our OKRs for Q4 for @meet_able. I had to revisit our strategy to build the initial set of goals, clarify fundamental questions I was thinking about but never laid out.

We decided to migrate to @discord from @telegram. I has simpler and more integrations, and we assume that it will make it simpler for us to create community channels etc.
