Small achievement at @TacoDigest - two new paid subscribers in one day πŸš€

Do you think it's alright to recommend your service in tweets tagging a competitor that clearly hasn't been maintained for some time?

It seems that @TwitterDev has finally disabled access to retrieving tweets from the API. It was working on the free plan, but today it finally stopped working.

Unfortunately, there will be no more Twitter digests at @TacoDigest. We'll remove integration today.

I had a great weekend enjoying the beach πŸ–οΈ

Here are my plans for this week:

✏️ Finish one blog article
✏️ Repurpose a video into a blog post
πŸŽ₯ Watch 3 lessons from "Master YouTube" academy.

Just found out that my support chat tool doesn't save history for free accounts.

Moving on to the next level of customer support now - by memory.

Shipped a small update for @TacoDigest

Added more options for HakerNews and Reddit updates. Now you can pick the weekly/daily best posts. #buildinpublic
Here's my YouTube report for April πŸ“† #buildinpublic

I'm thrilled with the growth of my main channel. One video, in particular, took off and led to all the growth.

Looking ahead, I'm excited to soon achieve monetization in May.

πŸ”¬ Let's dive into the numbers:
Created a "Use cases" page.

It's rough for now, maybe make it a proper page later.

But it also partly exists to make sure google find my pages for SEO. Not sure how good these practices are thought, but I gave it a go.

Added the sources list right inside the landing hero section, so it would be more clear right away.

Plus, fixed the bug when you got an error message when Twitter profile is private/protected.

Also, working on adding Fahrenheit's to weather for American/British users.

Improved @TacoDigest city search for weather updates.

Many cities especially in the US have the same name so I added states/regions so you could find the correct city.

Before/After #buildinpublic
Added some more notifications for user actions in
@TacoDigest.
Always a pleasure to read them instead of only signups 😊 #buildinpublic
Decided not to spend too much time on landing page, so using Tailwind UI.

Just want to make it fresh and clean. And state my value propositions with more clear picture on target audience.

Just a sneak peek on hero section:
Quite a nice day working on @TacoDigest. It sounds terrible, but first time started exploring marketing:
- wrote a clear positioning for the product
- created a content plan for blog posts and SEO pages
- started working on rehauling the landing page

Back after vacation! 🚒
I had two road trips: up to the mountains and across the country.

I was off the grid almost all the time, which helped restart my brain.

Now to hacking! Planning to replace free plans with trial this week for tacodigest.com

A small ship with @TacoDigest today. Made a little "share" button that leads to the page where you can share it on different social platforms and messengers.
For now, only added it for RSS news as a test.

Want to finally dig into SEO for tacodigest.com.

Started by adding separate pages with keywords for each feature of the app like tacodigest.com/rss-to-email/, tacodigest.com/reddit-to-emai…, etc, in total 6 new pages.

Appreciate any feedback if you know SEO! ☺️
