It's been ~1 week since my last tweet, took a short vacation to recharge and refocus. Back now, so expect more #buildinpublic updates for Kadu coming soon!
Exploring some big changes for Kadu, should have more details in the coming days. Might involve expanding the feature-set and shifting the target audience a little bit ๐ค
New landing page is up at kaduapp.com/get-started ๐! Now, focusing on fine-tuning each of the Smart Templates to make sure the generated emails are as effective as possible for their use case.
Working on a new carousel on the landing page to show different instructions and outputs generated by Kadu. Hopefully it drives more interaction and gives a better idea of what Kadu does ๐ค
Who's working on a startup from another country? Personally located in the US, and would love to hear about your experiences building in different locations. Let's connect!
A lot of cold dm-ing people who fall into Kadu's target audience. Working on creating a connection first, then introducing the product. Slow progress, but in the early stages, you have to work for everything ๐
Thinking back on it, yesterday might've been the first day building Kadu that I didn't touch the product at all ๐. Hopefully that's not a red flag...
Payments are finished up on Kadu! Stripe has been super easy to set up and integrate with codebase, would def recommend. Next up, creating a short demo video w/ voiceover for marketing and landing page.
Manifesting my Stripe test payments into reality (except that sharp drop in volume ๐). Payment functionality is almost done, then shifting to marketing week. Plus, a big update on the direction of Kadu soon!
The vast majority of startup advice tells you what you shouldn't do. There's no playbook on what you should do to succeed, because every story is different. That's what each of us are trying to find out on our startup journey.
Working on building payments for Kadu, plus debating focusing my marketing on businesses and startups ๐. Received lots of positive feedback from founders, and a space I know better.
