Whelp, last week was rough. School got the best of me again.
Don't get me wrong, I'm learning a ton, and some could very well be applicable to what I'm building. Yet, it's frustrating not get a chance to work on something I'm truly passionate about.
- Added log streaks to incentivize being consistent - Made UI changes so user can see more logs & tasks before needing to scroll - Fixed UI bugs - Added page for handling pro subscription - Added server-side code to complete Stripe integration
Last week I: - Celebrated my bday playing a new board game (Unstable Unicorns - it's fun) ๐ฆ - Made initial pay page (see pic) - Learned & added @stripe w/ @Firebase cloud functions. Paid version coming this week w/o some pro features ๐ธ

- Added 'features' and about sections to the main website (still some work to do but check out the changes now at xplorepod.com) - Added PWA download instructions to the app - Fixed bugs with some popovers and elements not showing
- Spent most of it catching up on Marvel movies with my girlfriend (we're about to watch Endgame now) ๐ฝ๏ธ - When I had more energy, I got a chance to fix some bugs in the code reported by beta test users ๐
This past week (wk 8 of #buildinpublic), I took some time off to spend with family but still made progress:
- Added page to make starting a day's log more intentional (see pic) - Sourced feedback from beta users - Optimized SVGs - Reviewed Firestore data modeling strategies
- Created backgrounds for 2 tutorial pages - Added login, sign up, & auth backend - Set up tracking for key user onboarding metrics - Update TOS & privacy policy - Launched beta at xplorepod.com!
- Revamped main page UI so tasks can be added more quickly - Added tutorial pages for a better flow - Separated tasks by status with an accordion showing key task tags summary - Enabled changing task status directly on log
