My North Star Metric for KTool is the number of articles delivered

It's been growing ~200% MoM over the last 3 months

It doesn't directly translate to revenue as KTool is free during beta

I'm going to remove the free plan & stop the LTD next month to test this

I think this is the main difference between LI and Twitter

On Twitter, no matter how good your tweet is, after 24hrs your reach & engagements basically stop improving

The second worst-case scenario for KTool is to allow all users sending news articles for free.

I would then put a big fat ad in the middle of the article.

I got 39 downloads from App Store, 82% from organic search 🥳

And I did absolute nothing to promote my startup there 🤯

Will definitely need to learn more about ASO 🤓

Question: is it possible to determine which keywords lead to those downloads? 🤔

For comparison, my first tweet on Twitter last year got about 200 impressions 🙁

Twitter API Tip: Don't use field `id` if your backend is in JavaScript

I ran into a critical issue today as some users cannot unroll threads

Turned out I was using field `id` (int64) and not `id_str` (string), resulted in data loss after conversion 🤦‍♂️

I spent some time today to evaluate a new reader product by a VC-backed startup (raised $7mm Series A)

They have the send-to-kindle feature built-in and they claimed to develop the "most advanced parsing technology".
