ok, Is Everything Ok App is looking “ok” on mobile

#buildinpublic
forgot the #buildinpublic

I'm looking at the app and changing everything until it stops being that ugly. Been doing it a lot these last few days.

Today I added more CSS to time since.

Started like this and ended like that, and yep I do have light theme, the dark is by default 🦉

So I just made these little squares 🟥🟨🟥🟩🟩🟩 to visually see if I spent too much time without doing something.

I've visualised this grid for a long long time, 137 hours working in Time Since, until I finally got them.

Time Since update:

Now I can delete events.

Time Since update:

New test to check the bottom sheet hides after adding an event.

New bottom sheet was added to Time Since

The video is from @playwrightweb (which is seriously amazing, to be honest)

#buildinpublic
I added a bit more of CSS & a bottom sheet to make it easier to add events to Time Since ✨

Ok, I made a few style improvements to Time Since ✨:

- Scale text correctly on mobile (or better said, don't)
- Style list (remove bullets, wrap text, highlight title & thin time since as it is a long text)
- Change font

I’m behind on so many things, but my Planner App assured me I have time to catch up with everything.

Programming my way out of anxiety 🤝

@marc_louvion have you ever thought about adding end-to-end encryption to any of your apps?

Do you have users asking for your management of data privacy? For example in tracking apps like habit garden?

Yesterday I worked 21h hours in a row, it was fun (20% dopamine / 80% pain) I was in the zone.

I put an all nighter too, long time w/o doing that (hate missing sleep), woke up at 7am and went to bed 8:45 next day.

Getting close to my vision. Hope its worth it.

This is what I’m building towards, rn those are shortcuts to 2of3 spreadsheets I use to manage myself + Github Contribution Graph.

I want to build the same graph to to spot “is everything ok?””what should i work on?” A self-monitor for my life.

Not sure if the all nighter was wort it or not, but at least the app is syncing and working fine from safari mobile, I’ll finally be able to start using it on the go and replace the spreadsheet😭

At this point it has more features than my apreadsheet ✨🫶

It only took me 17h to set up CouchDB in @digitalocean with SSL + JWT Auth + Firebase Authentication.

Haven’t felt this dumb since uni 🤣 took me forever to nail each step, all docs/posts were vague or outdated.

But now the app is syncing nicely ✨

Is it is trash but it is almost fully featured haha

I want to crate a personal log to help me remember the last time I did something, and eventually remind me to do stuff after a certain period of time.

Can’t believe it was so hard to find a thread to pull for this but today I finally found comdb a plugin for pouchdb to facilitate e2e encryption with couchdb and I’m so happy.

@garbados work is amazing ✨

I started my project now that I know e2e is possible🔥

Does anybody here have end-to-end encrypted projects and has written about how they did it or can talk about it?

An small update on the planner ✌️

The current version uses default styles for components, today I started leveraging ⁦⁦@figma⁩ to create a consistent style.

#buildinpublic
Do you use @figma for your side project?

I'm starting to use it to help me think only about the design and not get into the issues with implementation.

#buildinpublic
I'm new to #buildinpublic & #indiehacker.

I've never welcomed anybody to use anything that I've created for myself.

And I know it is anything but polished, it is usable, but may have a few bugs.
