~50% buy the upsell on ZENmix when purchasing the music bundle

never expected the hacked together upsell thingie to work that well.

lesson learned, have something to up or cross sell

#buildinpublic
not all feedback is the same, for example, the one in the screenshot is bad, it doesn't help at all because nobody can act on it.

Be clear and specific when you give feedback and don't expect the other to magically know what you saw or experienced.

have limits in your sass and enforce them, if not someone will abuse your app at some point.

like the guy on ZENmix that canceled within the first month but exported heavily compared to other customers

that's some nice feedback my Motivate extension got and yeah, should market it more.

#buildinpublic
holy crap, something is wrong when I have to wait 2.5 hours to get the account activation email.
and even had to reach out via chat and email support.

all indie makers can do better than this corp

that's awesome feedback for the Online Breathing Timer on the @MindfulDevMag

pathfinder rpg seems like an untouched niche. Tons of keywords for various calculators and all extremely low competition according to ahrefs

working on copying feedback as images feature to post on social media for FeedLetter.

this is one given for a book

#buildinpublic
adding audio feedback to FeedLetter was a meh decision.

turns out readers don't use it.

Only 3 replies in 2 months across all users.

next time, I am just testing with a link and coming soon message

#buildinpublic
doodling some ideas for a new hero illustration on FeedLetter to get the message over. I know it's ugly 😋

is it understandable?

#buildinpublic
thanks to the exit-intent popup asking for feedback I got notified about a bug. the exit-intent popup and web rating widget did want to coexist on the same page. now they do.

srly. add an exit-intent popup and ask why they leave
you're missing out if you don't

#buildinpublic
got this "It's too expensive" vote on FeedLetter today

Do you agree with this logic?

#buildinpublic
sometimes I wish I could contact the users ... argh don't have a name/contact field in the exit intent widget yet

#buildinpublic
never expected that readers use my FeedLetter links in ebooks published on retailers.

testing it in 2 books and readers use it. Although, in chapter 1 or 2 only so far.

so, if you got books, give it a shot

#buildinpublic
adding an exit intent popup to FeedLetter was a good decision. Feedback so far:

4 * "Looks too cheap"
1 * "It's too expensive"
2 * "Don't see the value"

Sdly, nothing written but it's still a good indicator for what to improve
