Compete against yourself, yes.

But surround yourself with people who will celebrate your successes and whose success you can celebrate! 🥳

Great meeting & demo. This prospective customer is so lovely & has become a bit of a mentor to me - grateful for lots of amazing insights.

Didn’t make an immediate sale, but we booked a 2nd demo on Tuesday with the team who would actually be using the product. 🤞

Phew! Got a super minimal MVP finished just before dinner. Literally a static site on localhost, but enough to prove the value.

Sent screenshots to my 1st prospective customer. Offered a few timeslots for a demo. They took the earliest slot (tomorrow).

Self-imposed MVP deadline: ready to demo by Thursday.

It forced me to eliminate so much: no auth, database, deployment... the MVP will literally be a static site on localhost rendering some data.

And that’s *good*, because the data is where the value is!
